OK, I’m rather excited to give the very brief update that our search capabilities are about 17.9% complete.  Yes, that leaves 82.1% still to go, but I’m confident we’ll get there.

So, what’s the first 17.9% entail?  Well, we’ll be concentrating our attention on a “DETAILED Sort” function, which will entail two pages: “Blogs by REGION” and “Blogs by TOPIC.”  Detailed means what it means… details.  The name of the blog, the URL of the blog, possibly a picture of the blog, and of course a description of the blog.

A “QUICK Sort” function, on the other hand, will allow you to…. you guessed it, QUICKLY scan through available blogs, still both by region and topic, but without the added details and descriptions.

So, one way or another, you’ll have the information right at your disposal.  So, tell us what you think, and stay tuned for more.

If you read this site’s virgin post from April 5th, then you probably have a good idea of what the intention is here at BlogPail.com.  (If you don’t, send me a message and I’ll take another crack at it.)  But know you’re likely wondering, and very rightly so, what you can do on the site.

The answer, very candidly, is… “Not Much, Yet.”  And that’s because we’re just getting started, so there’s really nothing to search for!  But that will change, and very shortly I might add.  Over the next two months, we’ll be adding content, various and interesting links, as well as straight-forward search capabilities, which will make the site much more valuable.  OR AT LEAST THAT’S THE IDEA!  But rather than have me guessing, why don’t you TELL me what you’re looking for, and I’ll see what I can do.
